IB History

IB has existed since the 1960's, when it was developed by UNESCO and the European Council. In the same way as stx, IB is a preparatory course that will give you admission to a number of higher education courses in Denmark.
IB is acknowledged internationally, since it is offered in 136 countries at 2757 schools. All in all there are more than 722,000 IB students worldwide. In Denmark the teaching language is English and with the diploma in hand you can apply directly to a wide range of higher educations worldwide - also many of the highly esteemed universities.
The purpose of the course is to give you inter-cultural understanding, a global perspective and to teach you to think critically and independently.
