Creativity, Action, Service is an essential component of the International Baccalaureate Programme. Participation in CAS promotes growth in all areas of an IB candidate's life. The purpose is to experience change through a multitude of diverse activities and projects, and CAS serves as a counterbalance for the academic intensity of the IB programme.
IB students are expected to accumulate a minimum of 50 hours in each CAS category for a total of 150 hours by the end of the 2nd year.
